From 23 to 25 November, the conference on sequences and their applications, sponsored by Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Hubei University and Hubei Key Laboratory of Applied Mathematics, was held in Wuhan. Nearly 70 domestic experts and scholars attended the meeting from all major scientific research institutes and universities.
At the opening ceremony, Prof. Dabin Zheng, Vice Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Hubei University, welcomed the guests and introduced the basic situation of Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics.
He said that the convening of the conference will further promote the development of sequences and their applications and the related disciplines. Prof. Xiwang Cao of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics made a speech at the conference. He hoped that the conference would strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation and assist the growth and development of young scholars.
Prof. Zhixiong Chen, Putian Univesity, gave a reported entitled “On the k-error linear complexity of Xiao-Zeng-Li-Helleseth's sequences of period p2”.
In addition, 9 young scholars and experts made invitation reports at the conference.
