学术报告：On the bound states of quantum layers

专家简介：陆志勤，美国加州大学尔湾分校终身教授。1997年博士毕业于美国纽约大学柯朗研究所。美国数学会首批会士，曾获中国数学会钟家庆数学奖，美国数学会Sloan基金奖，NSF杰出青年奖，Halmos-Ford奖等奖项。陆志勤教授是微分几何领域国际知名学者，在谱几何与Kahler几何方向均有卓越建树。

报告摘要：It is know that for a quantum layer in the three dimensional Euclidean space, the ground state exists under mild assumptions. Namely, if the Gauss curvature is integrablebut the layer is not totally geodesic, then the ground state exists. In this talk, in additional to the ground state, we discuss the existence of infinitely many bound states of the quantum layer. This is a joint work with Bobo Hua and Zuoqin Wang.
