专家简介:靳平，山西大学教授，博士生导师.从事有限群及其表示论的研究,主要成果发表在Adv. Math.和J. Alg.等国际著名期刊上,主要研究兴趣包括自同构群与上同调群,辛模以及特征标理论.代表性成果之一是与刘合国教授合作,证明了群扩张的Wells映射是一维上闭链并描述了其上同调示性类.著名群论学者D.J. Robinson为此专门写了综述文章; J. Dietz在2013年St Andrews国际群论会议上详细报告了该结果;在2018年由三位群论学者撰写的新书Automorphisms of Finite Groups中也介绍了该结果；近几年该成果已被其他学者推广到李代数中.

报告摘要：We will investigate tensor factorizations of irreducible complex characters of an arbitrary finite group, and establish a unique factorization theorem for a certain family of irreducible characters by introducing prime characters and primary characters. Our results generalize the corresponding theorems of Brauer for projective representations and of Ferguson and Turull for quasi-primitive characters.
